Hi. I am a member of a Trust and we have just opened a new building. The walls are made of rammed earth and we are going to have to hard wire a modem into the office so that we can access the net to use laptops, phones and to run an Eftpos machine. I need advice on the best provider with most reasonable monthly charges. Thanks in advance.

Depends a bit on the fact that you'll no doubt have to have a 'business' account ? "Hard wire a modem into the office" ? You simply install it as you would any other electronic device. It'll need power and a phone line or more likely a Fibre connection depending on your needs.

might be a starting place.

We have power but not a phone line. There is a fibre connection. We are applying for a Merchant ID which will allow us to have an Eftpos machine. I will go onto that site you have recommended, thanks nice-lady.

The building and nature of place is not really relevant then is it?

OP there is no obligation to be on a business account. You will notice businesses plains cost considerably more- the main point of difference is slightly quicker standard upload speed and priority support. That’s about it. Being fibre is pretty reliable the need is much less over the old copper businesses systems.
We run standard residential fibre in our business. Good way to reduce fixed costs .
