how to reduce the popping noises from a metal roof

#Post
1

Hi , okay we have worked out after alot of research in attic , near end of sunny day , then cooling , etc etc and other times , that the noise we hear inside is more the tile profile metal roof 1996, so far we are doubling down on the glasswool insulation , which is suppose to have good thermal and great acoustic qualities, it is helping abit as cant really hear the black sheathing paper now if windy. , is there any other idea's please ?? the sheathing paper isnt much chop its crispy abit sticky , is there anything we could put over the top ? that might have acoustic quality... thanks for your help , with a previous post I listed I asked about gussets for framing, we have decided not to mess with the trusses at all , as 90% of the issue is the roof. look forward to any noise control ideas

Heaven help you if the neighbours have a all night shindig, if your all worried about the roof contracting after a hot day.
Why not put a sprinkler system up there to keep the iron cool all day??

depends on what your used to.
ive seen comments overseas where roof noise is unheard of and even rain noise due to the way they build.
