| 1 | there doesn't seem to be a suitable thread so here goes. I have captions on my TV and almost all the programs that I watch also have captions. I haven't struck a program on Netflix that doesn't have them before but tonight I am trying to watch The Queens Gambit. I can hear about 1 word in 3, AND it doesn't seem to have captions.(like subtitles if you haven't heard the word before) So I am feeling a bit sad, does it have captions? or never ?? anything I can do ? any help out there would be appreciated. fendie - 2020-11-15 21:36:00 |

| 4 | many thanks peanuts 37 but I can get down to 'Audio and subtitles' and the thing says 'OFF' with a tick beside it. I have managed to remove the tick but it still says 'OFF' (and the tick returns when I go back to the program) and still no words. somehow I can't make it say 'ON' well damn. | 6 | Oh hooray hooray I have got subtitles ! thank you thank you all of you, it worked it worked ...... the first one was in French and I thought Oh well , but it turned out that they WERE speaking in French.
