| would an email from google be true or a scam ? its saying someone knows my password & i should change it . jfor - 2020-11-10 20:13:00 |
| Maybe, maybe not. Probably a scam. As with any email, never click the links. Log into your Google account via your browser and change your password that way. videomonkey - 2020-11-10 20:16:00 |
| Yeah DO NOT use any link in the email. nice_lady - 2020-11-10 20:37:00 |
| thankyou, ..... it just dosent sound right . jfor - 2020-11-10 20:44:00 |
| What is the EXACT wording of the email ? nice_lady - 2020-11-10 20:56:00 |
| It's probably just reporting a new device using your account. ie you've used a new phone, tablet , or a new browser to check your gmail. bitsnpieces2020 - 2020-11-10 21:00:00 |
| That's why speculation isn't really going to help the EXACT message is always better. nice_lady - 2020-11-10 21:04:00 |
| You have to check the exact email address it came from. tygertung - 2020-11-11 06:18:00 |
| I have never had email from Google like that. ferrit47 - 2020-11-11 10:25:00 |
| Google do this if they detect problems. Simple solution though is to change your password, just in case, but do so from logging in to the account via your browser/gmail etc not from an email link... king1 - 2020-11-11 11:09:00 |
| I recieved the same one just the other day and I don't have a google account, well not to the best of my knowledge. Number one son I think had a g-mail address a few years back but not sure if he still has it. Thanks for the advice guys, will look into it safely now as I was just ignoring it. cookiebarrel - 2020-11-17 02:28:00 |
