Depends on your plan.

If you're using Wifi, that will be the limiting factor.

Yes, I am talking about wifi (not through etherrnet cable) and is supposedly the fastest plan on Vodaphone.

You'll never get your full line speed when using Wifi, as Wifi is the limiting factor.

To get your full plan speed you'll need to use an ethernet cable.

I get 100 on wifi which is correct for my fibre plan, and my laptop is a few metres from the Spark modem.

Pretty much any laptop or device with a modern AC wifi card will get to 100Mbps, that isn't too much of a stretch as long as the router is also capable of those speeds (most are). I have gigabit fibre and tend to get around 300-400Mbps with my wireless devices but get pretty much the full advertised speeds when running over ethernet to our desktops.
