| Clearly its been a very long while since ive been on these boards as there use to be a General topic area, so now it seems this MIGHT be the best bet. MY daughter wants a wall poster A1 type size. What sort of resolution file would i need to find online to get printed at that size and maintain quality? studentkyle - 2020-11-01 20:27:00 |
| https://toolstud.io/photo/dpi.php 3509x4967 which is 150DPI (ok if you don't look too closely). 7017x9933 is 300DPI (excellent print quality) Keep in mind some printing places won't print copyrighted images off the net. 3 | the next question is....how to i find an image like that? studentkyle - 2020-11-01 21:28:00 |
| Well Hubby's phone just took a 6000x8000 pixel photo on it's 48mp setting. I don't understand this stuff too well but maybe you could just use a high quality digital photo you took yourself? nice_lady - 2020-11-01 21:56:00 |

| I am not sure if a cellphone camera is up to the task, 48 mp or not, but I may be wrong. tygertung - 2020-11-02 13:32:00 |

Why not? As long as it meets the resolution requirements, it'll print fine. Edited by videomonkey at 3:51 pm, Mon 2 Nov videomonkey - 2020-11-02 15:50:00 |
| Sure, but at full crop the image might not be too good as there isn't much room for a sensor or a lens in a cellphone. I know they've improved over the years, but still might not be as good as a proper camera. But I could be wrong. tygertung - 2020-11-02 19:30:00 |
