https://********.com/Community/index.php

Quite a few from the TM forums seem to be joining this community. Might be worth looking into.

I see they have a recipe section but it's empty at the moment so maybe some of the lovely people on here might like to use it.

Plenty of room on there for all of us.

Such a very strange decision. Especially when they have only selected to remove certain groups, I don't understand why this one has to be culled.

Recipes has been such s good section, for lots of people. It would be a big loss, to lots of people.

And all the wonderful, recipes that we have shared.

Hope we are able to keep it going.

Timturtle, here are two lamb recipes from davidt4, originally posted on TMMB, that might be of interest to you. I don’t know if either one is the recipe whangasurfclub was writing about, but they do look delicious!
Butterflied leg lamb on BBQ:
Marinade overnight in olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano (or rosemary), garlic, grated onion. Salt generously just before cooking. If you pass three bamboo skewers (e.g. satay sticks) through the meat horizontally it will hold it flat and make it much easier to manoeuvre.

Get your barbecue really hot and give it about 30 minutes for med. rare, 45 for well done. I wouldn't close the hood. Rest the meat at least 10 minutes before slicing. (Source: http://stackofrecipes.com/topic/21776/butterflied-leg-lamb-o
n-bbq
)

Lamb loin chops:
Comma-shaped chops sound like loin chops to me. If they are lamb I would marinate them for a few hours in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, oregano and grated onion, pat them dry, sprinkle with salt and grill over high heat until brown on the outside and pink in the middle. Serve with a Greek salad and some baked or boiled kumara.

In fact that's what we'll be having for dinner tonight except that our chops are goat.

If the chops are hogget they are likely to be a lot tougher and would need 2 days in the marinade to tenderise. (Source: http://stackofrecipes.com/topic/16214/something-different-la
