1 | She was adopted aged 2 in Birmingham and is now 91 - where/how do I help her to find out more before it’s too late? Also how do I add her birth parents names in my family tree when my grandparents names are already entered as her parents? sarahb5 - 2020-01-22 13:58:00 |
2 | Most genealogy programs (and ancestry) allow you to add more than one set of parents. Often called alternative parents. catsmeat1 - 2020-01-22 16:25:00 |

Definitely do this. I bought my Mum a DNA kit for Mothers Day and sadly she passed 5 days beforehand so never got to do it. So her brother (my uncle) did it for his 80th birthday last year. Today, I have found DNA proof of who their maternal grandfather was. The information is invaluable. Edited by firemansgirl at 11:28 am, Fri 24 Jan firemansgirl - 2020-01-24 11:27:00 |
