Have birth parent names for my adopted aunt

#Post
1

She was adopted aged 2 in Birmingham and is now 91 - where/how do I help her to find out more before it’s too late? Also how do I add her birth parents names in my family tree when my grandparents names are already entered as her parents?

Most genealogy programs (and ancestry) allow you to add more than one set of parents. Often called alternative parents.

Has she done a DNA kit. There will be people out their that are related and would like to find her.

Definitely do this. I bought my Mum a DNA kit for Mothers Day and sadly she passed 5 days beforehand so never got to do it. So her brother (my uncle) did it for his 80th birthday last year. Today, I have found DNA proof of who their maternal grandfather was. The information is invaluable.
