Chocolate Rough Slice

â—¾150g butter
â—¾1/2 cup sugar
â—¾1 1/2 cups flour
â—¾2 tablespoons cocoa
â—¾pinch of salt
â—¾1/2 cup coconut
â—¾1 teaspoon baking powder
â—¾topping
â—¾1 rounded cup icing sugar
â—¾50g butter, melted
â—¾2 teaspoons cocoa
â—¾1 cup coconut
â—¾1/3 tin sweetened condensed milk
â—¾1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
Method
Preheat oven to 180 C
For the base, beat butter and sugar together until pale and creamy. Mix in dry ingredients and then press into a lined 20 x 30cm slice tin. Bake for 15 minutes.
Mix all topping ingredients together until well mixed and spread over the base while still warm.. Leave to sit for 10 minutes or so but cut while still warmish. nanee2jlp - 2020-01-08 13:39:00 |
