I'm trying o find out the year my father passed away. I lost contact with him when I came to NZ in 1974 from England. I've tried looking at electoral rolls but it seems you have to put in a special request? Anyone know how I could do this online please? His name was Dominic Dabrowski. Thank you.

Hopefully this may be of help. These are from the England and Wales death index on Ancestry, if the date of birth and location suits ... unsure why there are 2 entries with slightly different dates. Someone else on here may know why that happens.

Thank you all. Is it possible for anyone to get this information? I have other things I would like to find out. Do you have to subscribe to anyone in particular? I always thought BDM details and electoral roll were free to view on line but I can't find out how. Thanks.

most of us have subscrtiptions to Ancestry and Findmypast which is where the information was found for you. If you have never had a sub with either of them you can try it out by using the 14 free trial and for Ancestry just cancel before it is due to be charged to your Credit or Debit card....for Findmypast untick the box so that it doesn't renew
