#Post
1

Tin of condensed milk, teaspoon of mustard and tablespoon of vinegar? Or is my memory failing? Don't want to waste the ingredients!

Isn't there a recipe on the condensed milk tin?

I thought so too, but it was for a cheesecake! Panicked and searched mayo on here and found nothing! Panicked again. Then searched condensed milk and found a recipe.
Thanks recipe posters!

Make this all the time for hubby. Tin of C/D milk, good squirt of emulsion mustard, and couple of tablespoons of vinegar. Put all into a jar or plastic container and shake vigorously until thick. Keeps in the fridge for a long time, but not in our house.!!!

1 tsp dry mustard, 1 tsp salt, 1 can sweetened condensed milk and I can either brown or white vinegar - beat well till thick - best mayo!

Nanee2...In the days of old, we used to have just cond milk dressing on our sandwiches for school....I only use 1/2 tin vinegar and 1 whole egg. Nana, and mum always did this, and it keeps for such a long time.....

korbo yes I have heard some people added eggs but I don't like the thought of raw eggs in it and I cant see it would keep that long if eggs were added.
