I de-stressed our local Grocer yesterday LOL

Spotted a broken pavlova in the special bin yesterday $3.99. Had a feel, yep all hard and perfect to make Eton Mess. Save me on time and on buying more sugar. Mrs Grocer (4 square) spotted it in my basket and went on how a customer had complained to her about this being the last of it's brand in her shop, that she should sue couriers for delivering broken products, shouldn't be selling it etc. I told her that firstly, pavlova is covered in cream etc so not even seen. and then told her it was perfect for what I wanted (Eton Mess), then I promptly dropped it on the floor and stood on it. She cracked up laughing. She had no idea what Eton Mess was but she went from almost tears to laughter, perfect. Customers can be so nasty this time of year.

Did you drop it on purpose? I keep seeing things on my newsfeed about not knowing what is going on in someone's life, and that is very true. The person upset about a broken pay may have the MIL from hell, who will measure the crap out of it, expect total perfection and not think about the fact it all looks disgusting in the stomach and that is the last time it will look like food anyway.

Merry Xmas and enjoy the Eton mess :)
