does a Ham last longer if it is glazed and baked

Hi wyndra,
Yes it will as long as the internal temperature reaches above 70°. insert a temperature probe near the bone.
Also chill leftovers as soon as you can, in your fridge.
Place on plate with the ham wrapped in baking paper,or clean cotton pillowcase. (NO plastic wrap).and it will last for weeks.

Ham lasts for ages if you rinse as piece of fabric (usually muslin) or an old tea towels in vinegar and water every day or two and cover with that.

By ages I mean weeks I also slice up and freeze in bags of about 300g and pullout for lunches each week. In fact after Christmas I buy extra whole hams to do this with as they are on super special then.
