Master Chef UK final

#Post

Last night was good viewing wasn’t it. I couldn’t decide who was going to win, had a soft spot for Ellie must admit, and thought the Scotsman (apologies his name escapes me) had improved out of sight as did the Chef with his sauces which the judges rated so highly. No razzmatazz, just good strong cooking and at the end no messing about the winner was announced and the goodwill from the others was warming to see, even tho they would have been very disappointed. I’ll miss it I have to admit. Roll on the next series, don’t care if they’re a bit out of date. Hope others enjoyed it as well.

Ellie is now a head chef, the winner is the national chef of Scotland - showcasing the produce, and the other guy is running his own restaurant.
DH had no idea it was the final, and when they tasted Ellie's food is commenting "well, she's safe" lol

I thought it would be the Scotsman as he had no negative comments, but the others could easily have won as well.

I just don't like the ending when the "losers" just leave.

One thing that bugged me was the judge saying that the not winning guy was a "good cook". I was yelling "he's a chef". (The not Greg judge). sorry, crap with names.

monica grew up here, but was born in Samoa. She definitely had a soft spot for Ellie. (I sort of thought Ellie might be working for her and her husband).

Yip, will miss it, running out of programmes to watch.

I enjoy all of the UK Masterchef series, Professionals is the best, and I do hope the next ones get screened in NZ.

Gary's final dishes looked wonderful.

We really enjoy watching Masterchef and especially Masterchef Professionals. Check out U tube for the ones we don't get in NZ.
