Can someone please supply quantities/ratio for coffee butter cream? I am using strong plunger coffee as the coffee flavouring.

I’ve never used actual coffee to flavour buttercream because the concentrated essences or flavourings give a better flavour without adding too much liquid.

I did find this but it uses instant coffee powder

A light alternative to a butter cream would be a thin water icing, perhaps flavoured with ginger to cut through the heaviness of the cake.
