Advice needed re bean saland dressing

#Post
1

Hi everyone, I made the dressing for bean salad that someone posted a while ago and made too much. I have about half of it that has been sitting in a jug, covered, in the fridge and I am wondering if you think it would be okay to just add the beans and other bits to it and keep in the fridge to eat over the next week? Cheers

As long as it is still edible and hasn't 'gone off'.....give it a go.

If it is one that you can boil - and you are worried that it has been sitting too long, I would boil it again first..... But I am paranoid about food poisoning lol

and if it's from the recipe I gave, yes, bring to the boil, and it should be fine - the vinegar gives it quite a long fridge life. And any excess is freezable.

Bean salad lasts forever, and taste better after a few days.
so I would use my nose and my tounge to check it still taste OK and then make it up with a bean salad.
