Old Fulton Newspapers

Has anyone used this website? There is no search facility to enter dates, from - to. Is there another free site available to explore American newspapers? TIA

It is clunky. But it is a private endeavour that is not so well resourced as others. I usually include the year in the search terms if I know it is relevant to reduce irrelevant hits.

A sort of help / FAQ page:
https://fultonhistory.com/Fulton_help.html

It includes an example of a search 1904-1920.

More US newspapers:

Country wide, but tend to be earlier.

Thanks stock.
Its frustrating, nothing is working. I'm searching for any article on Capt. Robert Thompson on the brig Amazon, from 1797-1810, New York. The ship traded between NY and Suriname plus other places. It foundered in 1809(?) all lives lost including Robert's.
