I have come to a brick wall and need some help finding parents of?
Edward Lilly born Old Kent Road London1855. And his wife Elizabeth born 1868/69 also in London. I can’t find a maiden name for her either.
I have all the census records showing their children -Elizabeth, Rose, Daisy and Edward born in Greenwich. Ive searched on Ancestry, findmypast, Familysearch but I can’t find their parents. Edward was also a lot older in his 30s when he married Elizabeth so I wonder if there was a previous family?
Any help would be gratefully appreciated

Have you looked in Free BDM or the GRO Index? If you search the GRO Index for one of the children then you should find out mothers maiden name.
You can search for marriages in Free BDM.

I have been able to find Elizabeth’s parents now.
Still don’t have much on Edward though, so grateful for any info you have found.
