3 | I use date molasses as a sweetener in Middle Eastern salads, it has a lovely rounded flavour. I imagine you could use the paste in the same way by diluting it with a little water. davidt4 - 2019-10-12 11:01:00 |
4 | Date loaf...............the recipe I use requires you to chop dates with sugar water and simmer till its paste consistancy then add to the loaf ingredients petal1955 - 2019-10-12 11:25:00 |

8 | Would you also use it with cheese board - like you would a quince paste or pear paste? cinderellagowns - 2019-10-12 20:01:00 |
9 | The Reduced to Clear shop in Porirua has been selling these jars for 99cents for ages. Expiry date August, but it's perfectly good. Many recipes using dates require you to mash or process the dates, so this is ideal. Don't be tempted to add extra water for recipes, it makes the whole lot too mushy. I also dilute some with water and put out for the birds, they love it! mieshammie - 2019-10-14 16:04:00 |

Correct samanya, Revive don't use sugar as such but for sweetener they rely mainly on what they call Date Puree which is made with nothing other than dates and water. :-)) 245sam - 2019-10-14 16:16:00 |
