Need Help- Hale/Dressler.

I have hit a brick wall & don't know how to carry on. Looking for marriage on Bessie(Elizabeth) Hale to Ernest Arthur Dressler, prob around 1895-1905
Bessie was the dau of Henry Hale b 1849 & Elizabeth (Vera) Critchley.
residents of Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. I have a family photo taken in 1908 before some of the Hale family immigrated to New Zealand. It states that Ernest Dressler was from Germany. They had 2 sons, Fritz & Franz.
I have tried variation of the names, Arthur Ernest or just Bessie to no avail.
I am presuming that these two married in Gloucestershire, where the big hale family resided. apparently contact was lost after WW1.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?

https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl
is your best bet for England / Wales marriages; & births less than 100 years ago; also deaths not covered by the office of the Registrar General.

But I'm struggling. Consider an anglicised name, especially during & after WW1. Were Fritz & Franz born in England?

I've been looking too but haven't had any luck. I have a lot of family from the Forest.

Have you seen this website

https://forest-of-dean.net/joomla/

It's loaded with information and records. You may find something useful there.

Thank you to all.
crab2- yes you have the correct family. Henrys 1st wife Elizabeth d. 1892. He then remarried Alice Brown. yes that is my 'bessie' in the 1891 census, she was single then. So between then & 1908 she marr & had 2 sons, who look abt 3-4yrs in faded photo. I have been on the Forest of Dean/Hale web sites but no luck. But I have no proof that she married unfortunately

crab2- i have spent hours of this search in past 2 days & no luck either. Wondering if Bessie & Ernest immigrated, but still cant find a marr cert, or births of Franz & Fritz , sons , even in Gloucestershire or Germany. Did find a Franz Dressler death in Germany 1945, on a war memorial, but cant clarify if he is a son . Grrrrrrr!!
