My friend has had no luck in finding birth and death of Alice Eilleen Emes in London area. Possibly deceased around 1918. Thanks

Is Emes her birth name or married name? The more information you give the easier for help to be given.

Emes was her maiden name, she married Albert Edward Baker and died when her son who was also Albert Edward Baker b1914 was about 4 years old. She was my friends grandmother but they have no info at all on her, her husband remarried and she seems to have been forgotten about.

That record is for an Alice Emily Baker.

Are you sure that her middle name is Eileen?

If you use GRO you will see that the E stands for EMILY for that death record - this is why I asked if you are certain that her middle name was Eileen.

You may need to purchase the marriage record to get the correct middle name and her father's name and occupation to help with your search
