Edith Lucking died 1894 and is buried in an un-recorded grave in the Halcombe cemetery (have been working with council)

Please help with reading the name of the informant which seems to be an uncle Charles??

I will then try and find him on the rolls. Thx

Charles Crabb, previously storekeeper Halcombe, died Otaki 1923. Several obituaries at Papers Past, this being the most extensive:

Bad reporting even in those days, one obit says he came to Nz on the Doric 23 years earlier, another obit says he has been in Halcombe and the superintendent at the Sunday school for 40 years. I am picking he came over on the first sailing ship and not the steamship Doric more than 50 years prior to his death, will check it out.
