Catering for a small function

| I would like to hold a buffet dinner function with up to 17 guests. I would like it to be in my home which means my guests would have to eat while sitting on chairs. The lounge is a reasonable size and 17 stack-able chairs would fit. The dining room could be used as the bar and for the buffet meal.I would ask someone to cater. The kitchen has a conventional stove, with oven, a fan oven and a microwave. There is a fridge freeze and a chest freezer. spencer26 - 2019-07-28 09:09:00 |
| If you are hiring a caterer it is probably best if you ask them for menu suggestions - they will have a good idea of what is feasible for your particular facilities. davidt4 - 2019-07-28 10:25:00 |
| You could have a theme say curry night , then have an option of a few curries, rices, pappadoms and naans. Perhaps a platter of samosas , pakoras and dipping sauces. Or thai again a couple of curries, perhaps a noodle style dish. ruby19 - 2019-07-28 14:12:00 |
| Definitely have plenty of finger food as its very difficult balancing a plate and trying to eat with a knife and fork. You also don't want plates of food landing on the floor! nzhel - 2019-07-28 17:50:00 |
