BEEF POT-ROAST...???

Can anyone give me a recipe for an oven-baked one...?? We have crockpots, but I fancied doing one in a slow oven in a cast-iron pot? Any advice gratefully received.

Well heat oil in pot first and brown the meat on all sides then pop the lid on and let in slow cook in a moderate oven 140-150 degrees for about 3 hours should be so tender that it will fall apart by looking at it :-))

put cut up onion and carrot under the meat, it stops it sticking and makes amazing gravy, and put more mustard than you think you need all over the meat before you cook it.
