Occupation Query on Census

#Post

Hi Everyone

Does anyone know what L H K means under occupation on a census? I've never seen this before and can't seem to find out what it might mean,

Many thanks

Need a bit more info - what time frame and whereabouts was the person living? Could be clues in those things. Capricorngirl

I found this on "Find my past" in a 1881 English Census, occupation "Housekeeper (L H K)"
Live in Housekeeper seems the best definition.

LOL

Live in House Keeper makes the most sense.

It's on the census for 1881 for England,Wales and Scotland and it appears twice - once against the head of the household (a woman) and then again next to her daughter's name
