Advice needed on subs plz.

Ancestry subs up for renewal but thinking of changing to either Find My Past or The Genealogist. Mostly UK searches. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

I would stick with Ancestry but if you have never used Find my Past try their 14 day free trial and you can find out if you like it before deciding which sub you wish to get.

This is the discount link for Ancestry sub

if you do decide to go with Ancestry make sure the sub is finished before renewing it with the discount link otherwise it won't work

Depends on where you're looking. My family is all over the British Isles so in an ideal (lottery winning) world I would have both. FMP is great for Devon and Lincolnshire (amongst others) and their newspapers have provided some great information.

Wherever you end up, never pay full price!

I rotate through whichever one has a cheap monthly special when it suits me to sub. I only ever buy one month at a time and fill in whichever gaps they can fill in that time. In some respects FMP is superior, in others Ancestry has the edge. They complement each other but neither replaces the other in usefulness.
