1 | There was a lovely sweet Chili sauce recipe which had tomato sauce as one of the ingredients which I found on the former TM Cooks (but have since lost it). Would anyone have a copy of this they could share please as I'd love to be able to make it again? bev00 - 2019-05-19 23:27:00 |
2 | I think she use my recipe for Chili jam and subbed the fresh tomatoes for a can of tomato sauce. Chili jam . pickles7 - 2019-05-20 11:29:00 |
3 | Bev, the following recipe has been referred to on this message board in the past. Could it be the one you are looking for? https://www.wikihow.com/Make-Chili-Sauce chaschman - 2019-05-20 17:40:00 |

Thank you Pickles7 that sounds divine. It's not the recipe I was after (which only had very few ingredients) but yours is definitely one I will write in my recipe book to try as we grow a lot of chilies. bev00 - 2019-05-20 19:39:00 |

Thanks for posting this. It didn't require refrigeration but will give method 1 a try as the recipe was vinegar based and I may be able to adapt. bev00 - 2019-05-20 19:44:00 |
6 | This isn't amongst the Trade Me Cooks recipes that I have saved, Bev, but I have found a recipe from jag5 for Hot Chilli Sauce which probably matches your description more closely than the one I posted yesterday. It appears here: https://stackofrecipes.com/topic/42/sweet-chilli-sauce and here: https://stackofrecipes.com/topic/10434/how-to-prepare-chilli Edited by chaschman at 5:53 pm, Tue 21 May chaschman - 2019-05-21 17:52:00 |
