1 | could be Mc Hartland as well.. Eliza who was married to George Mc Partland of Carterton died Boxing Day 26th December 1863, but we cannot find her on BDMS... I believe I have her burial down at Mount Street Cemetery. Wellington. the oldest Roman Catholic cemetery, no headstone.. I used to be with this group but not now, but still in contact from time to time.. Would love for someone to find out about Eliza, she and George married in Devon, he was at the Barracks nearby. I always said she must have been in care in Wellington to have died down there. Over the years I return to searching for anything on Eliza, would love to know if she was in care in Wellington, perhaps she was homesick and got depressed and the nuns looked after her, who knows... George did remarry to Ann Sullivan family buried at Clareville cemetery. Back in 1863 this area did not have a cemetery so folk would have been buried on their lands, first recorded buried for Clareville is 1866. three years later. Only other local burial ground is the Oates one down Somerset Road, just for the Oates family... neich - 2019-05-14 21:14:00 |

3 | Just had this shared with me Great Site You go to the site, say yes on the agree button at the bottom of the screen, then next type a location into the search box. Awful screen comes up, tap the + button a few time so you can see a map emerge, and to the right there are suggested photos. If you click on them, you can download them. gadabt - 2019-05-16 16:59:00 |
