1 | I'm not sure if anyone has these but wondering if someone can tell me the location of this birth: 1870/22137. nerak - 2019-05-14 17:00:00 |
2 | 1870/22137 seems to be an online reference: The child seems to have died a short time later: There is an item elsewhere on this board discussing the merits of joining NZSG. The NZSG Kiwi collection Certificates Collection tells us the Jackson child died at Napier 4 December 1870. The NZSG Burials index has an item from the Napier Courthouse register. Papers Past has an item in 1869 referring to a William L Jackson of Napier. Based on this I'd bet the child's birth was registered in the Napier district. 6 | MegaThanks to all of you for all of that. I do belong to NZSG but have never understood what the Certificate Collection is all about - I'll have to look into it! Thanks loads again and sorry about the delay getting back. Enjoy all your digging and scratching :) nerak - 2019-05-20 08:04:00 |
