Hi to all. Looking for info on Annie Skene Howie, born 21/7/1895 in Aberdeen Married 26/9/1919 in Aberdeen.
Also daughter Alice, born 17/2/1916
I have a record of a paternity court case. There may be some cousins hiding out there somewhere.
Interested in Annie's parents, grandparents. Is there a Scottish Lord, Baron or castle in my history?? Thanks in advance for any help. Cheers

Have a look on Scotlands People -- her birth cert is available on there if you buy some credits. That will give you her parents.

The man the Annie pursued in a paternity case was Archibald Stanley Frost as in post #12.

This could possibly be the Archibald Stanley Frost that Annie claimed was Alice’s father? The original passenger manifest states he was living in Aberdeen and, as in the paternity case, his occupation was fisherman. The Colombia departed Glasgow and it seems his father, James 158 Market St, Aberdeen, was the departure contact, and his brother, Harry, was the contact in the US.
