Creamy Mushrooms and bacon

#Post
1

Hey, I’ve been asked to help out on Anzac Day breakfast at the local RSA. I’m doing onions on the bbq. But I would like to do creamy mushrooms and bacon. Growing up we use to have this on toast. However I’m not able find a recipe. We will have acouple of bbqs running and Bain mare and crockpot. Any easy quick recipe floating around? Cheers

Simplest way is to fry the bacon and mushrooms and then throw them into a pot of simmering light bisto gravy and mix together.Don't forget to add some onion as well.
But what about the kidneys?

I always add a splash of balsamic vinegar to mine - really brings out the mushroom flavour I think and I think brown or portobello mushrooms have more flavour too
