Sarah Ann Dobson b.1858 Westmoreland Undermillbeck. Mother Britannia and Father John. Sarah is living with her family in the Census of 1861 1871 1881. 8 September 1884 she marries James Burrows. In the 1891 Census she is back home but listed as being married. I have been unable to find her after that.
James Burrows was b.29 September 1858 in Lancashire Father William Mother Margaret and can be traced up to the 1881 census. Then he marries Sarah - 1884 - and can find nothing on him until he immigrates to Australia in February 1898 on the ship "Ophir". He remarries in Australia to Eliza Keelty in 1901.
Where was James in the 1891 Census. What happened to Sarah? Did she die? Think some fresh eyes on this may help. A friend has asked me if I would help her with this . TIA

John Dobson died in 1887 and his brother and son are the executors, the 1891 Census has been transcribed wrong and it says on the image she is Burrows not Dobson as transcribed

has the marriage certificate for James and Eliza been purchased, it should say on it if he is a widower or not

In the 1891 census Westmoreland Undermillbeck St Martins
The household is as follows:
Sarah Ann Burrows married 33 daughter
Brittania Dobson head 61
Bessie Dobson 25 daughter.
So Sarah is still alive in 1891.
I am not sure if my friend has Eliza and James marriage certificate.
Will suggest that to her. Thank you. Can you see where James Burrows is in 1891

Thanks crab2 for your help. Info. from marriage cert. to Eliza says James was a widower. His father is William and his occupation is book-keeper. Can anyone find a date of death for Sarah Ann Burrows or where James is between 1891 and 1898 .TIA
