Hi
Wondering if there is anyone near Wharerangi Cemetery in Napier that would be able to get a photo of a gravesite for me

That cemetery is not fully accounted for on the council site I am missing Godwin family that is buried there and there is absolutely no mention of them on their cemetery page.

The one I want is on the council site, but not headstone photo, but is buried in the inground plaque area in 1963

If there is not a photo it is quite likely there is no headstone as the council are pretty good with their photos

Yes, I have that one
Interesting story this man is.
He was 25yrs older than his "wife" apparently they married but there is no record.

The electrol rolls have them as being "married" but he used a different last name.

He was born as Thomas Frank FINCH in Canada, then at some stage he came to NZ (rumoured that it was he was a deserter and didnt want to serve in ww1)

Electrol rolls and death records have him as LYNCH.
His "wife" my 3rd cousin referred to him as "floyd" and Finchie

I was over in Napier today and went for a wander in the cemetery. Unfortunately, Frank does not have a plaque. I took a couple of photographs which I will now attempt to upload. My apologies for the photo quality - I couldn’t work out how to transfer them from my phone to my computer so I resorted to taking photos of the photos with my iPad.
