A delicious brisket recipe?

#Post
1

I have brought some brisket today and want to cook a most delicious and flavourful meal with it that I can freeze for when its cooler. I will cook in the le creuset I have so lonnnnnnnnng and slow is the aim.

I have looked online and there are some goodies there - does anyone have a fav they would like to share?

I like most flavours; however can't do anything heat-spicy as my partner cannot tolerate heat in food - unfortunately!

Thanks in advance.........

Is that the totality of the recipe?

Isn't that what a crockpots for? won't the brisket last in the freeezer?
I have started cooking brisket on the BBQ.Small lots that only take a couple of hours. I just marinate it with salt/pepper, garlic and something sweet(honey, brown sugar, golden syrup, maple syrup) in a bag for a couple of days.
The brisket with the bones in would be better(as long as there's a bit more meat than bones) Have even done these on the bbq as a lot cheaper than boneless.

Then just slow roast at about 110-130 for 8-12 hours.

I am not sure why you asked the first 2 questions; I don't own a crock pot, and like most meats I assume brisket will last in the freezer; as I mentioned I want to freeze it once cooked - so I have ready made meals to come home to, seeing further information is needed.

Thank you for the recipe.

Funnily enough I saw liquid smoke in a shop the other day and just about brought it, but did not. Will have to wait until I head back to the city. Cheers.
