Giving up coffee, drinking chocolate is expensive

#Post
1

Would anyone know where to get no-sugar drinking chocolate at a reasonable price?
The Countdown brands contain around 50% sugar so I can't use those. There are a couple of stevia brands for $5 for a tiny tin, too expensive.
Any ideas?
Also, cooking chocolate is cheaper, can that be used for drinking?
Thanks for any help.

For a long time I bought drinking chocolate and I never really even liked it. I went back to Milo recently. It lasts us ages.. so long in fact that the last bit forms a hard clump and I have to biff it lol.

Has anyone tried having a hot Nesquik? That'd be interesting lol.

I use one quarter teaspoon of cocoa and after a time it tastes quite sweet. Delicious.

Just a tip re: hard Milo, I found that using one of those plastic bag clips (link below) to close the original bag works very well, I'm still using the bag I bought way back last Winter, no more hard Milo. Got mine at Kmart but TWH do them too.

Thanks for the tip. I currently use Tupperware for coffe tea milo and sugar. It's a bit odd cos they're liquid-tight seals.

I should do that too. Way too much coffee being drunk here... Could use natvia to sweeten coffee a little and I'd make it with milk.

An alternative sweetener is vanilla essence or sugar free maple syrup

Try INKA...a coffee substitute. My doc took me off coffee for bowel reasons. Bought a jar of Inka, (reasonable price)..and now cant drink normal coffee, let alone cafe coffee..ugg.
