I just throw anything in the blitz, with a bit of ice, and a dollop of good yoghurt. Its great at this time of year with all the fruit. My sister makes one with rhubarb which is quite pretty looking. Blueberries are my favourite. I prefer fruit to veges. During winter I blitz and make smoothie soup. Again add anything. I do add LSA and sometimes nuts or seeds, not too much as it can irritate me. Nice on a hot day.

like lazkaz, at this time of year I blend whatever I have with yoghurt and milk
Any leftover smoothie gets poured into the iceblock molds- although in this hot weather I made smoothies especially for the iceblocks One smoothie i make all year round is using tinned fruit Watties black Doris plums and tinned pears (Remember to take the stones out of the plums I use 5 plums and 2 pears) Add plum juice, yoghurt cinnamon, milk and if too thin I often add an apple or a banana for bulk.

I bought a similar juice for lunch in the city recently (don't think it had apple in it though) & it was delicious, best I've ever had.

Apple juice, banana, kiwi fruit and spinach with spirulina powder. I’m generous on the spirulina because I’m recovering from a virus, but usually a generous teaspoon is enough.

1 large banana, half an apple, 1 cup coconut milk, 1 T sugar, 1 T vanilla essence. Top up my 2L jug with lettuce, spinach, cucumber, frozen peas, courgette etc - whatever i have plenty of, and top up to 2L with water once veggies are in. Store in milk bottle in fridge for use.

Use:

-Coconut water, red apple (gala is great!), fresh or frozen fejoia, frozen mixed berries, chia seeds, flaxseed, hemp hearts or oat bran & yoghurt

-Rhubarb, strawberries, coconut milk, honey & unsweetened yoghurt

Have a preference for fruit smooties
