Anyone have a great recipe? For about 30-40 people.

Be very cautious about using grapefruit juice (once a very popular punch ingredient) as many people are on medication where grapefruit juice is contra-indicated. In fact, best be honest about ingredients, including amount of alcohol per glass.

Popular in the past was on based on slightly sweetened cold tea (about 1 quart), one quart of fruit juice (orange or apple or pineapple juice or mix of these), and same amount of lemonade and/or gingerale, plus some alcohol - or have two bowls (or buckets), one clearly labelled NO ALCOHOL. Adjust flavours to taste, add slices of strawberries, oranges, etc for interest.

PS a quart is roughly the size of the largest agee preserving jar.... it's what we used, helping Mujm measure up for cabarets, etc.... Use something similar to get your quantities.....

Yup - me too......

A nice idea for decorating a punch bowl (of whatever type you use, and hire firms have them...) is to use a metal ring mould, lightly oil, place a layer of filtered water (for some reason, it doesn't seem to make bubbles or imperfections), then a layer of fruit, then more iced filtered water and freeze. Turn out, pattern side up, in punch bowl.....

For something a "bit different" in the punch variety, soak strawberries and blueberries in a bottle of white spirit (eg bacardi, vodka or tequila) overnight, place into punch bowl with a couple of bottles of rose wine (still or sparkling) and top up with lemonade. The fruit is delightful (heh heh heh) but lethal, so be warned... it's heavily alcoholic.....

Eeeh... the memories of even thinking about punch is bringing back...!

Oh, and I've only just realised this was for NON-alcoholic......
So frankly, I'd start here https://tinyurl.com/yafulewy (as with the first method), and think about using some of the more exotic teas, too - such as peach and strawberry....... then add the fruit juice and fizz......

Mine is simple: 1cup strong black tea, 1litre pineapple or orange juice, 1.25 ginger ale and 2.25 lemonade. I add slices of lemon and orange and or strawberries slice and mint as well as ice. I add more juice ginger ale and lemonade as necessary.

A very simple recipe is 1 litre of Pineapple Juice (I just use the tetra pack kind from the supermarket) and 1.5 litres of L & P. Just multiply the quantities to accommodate the number you are catering for. I then just add a few slices of orange to float on the top, and sometimes some mint leaves for additional flavour.

Thank you all!! I used CGVL's recipe and it was a hit. Thankfully I bought plenty of ingredients as I had to make up some more... more punch than wine drunk, which is most unusual for our lot of friends, lol. but it was a lunchtime event and people had to drive!
