| Does anyone have a good recipe for mulled wine. I don't want a large amount that needs to be used straight away, korbo - 2018-07-01 16:19:00 |

| thank you, do you think you could keep it in the fridge, and then just heat a cup up when you want it.. korbo - 2018-07-03 17:20:00 |
| korbo I know exactly what you mean re the Mulled Wine and wish I had a recipe I could share with you but I can recommend the following:- http://prenzel.com/shop/Prenzel+Bar/Mixers/Mulled+wine+-+500 Yummy, easy and so handy when needing a lovely spicey warming drink of Mulled Wine and all it takes is some boiling water along with the concentrate, then sit back and sip away!!. :-)) Edited to add....I have no connections to/with Prenzels so am definitely not trying to do a sales promo. 7 | korbo, since my earlier post I've done a bit of searching and found this:- https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/851643/mulling-syrup although IMO it wouldn't be as convenient as the ready-made and just needing to be heated option or the bought concentrate. :-)) 245sam - 2018-07-03 19:35:00 |
| You must add 250 ml brandy as well...that's the secret to the "warm" feeling it gives. Don't...don't, let it boil at all...the alcohol content will be gone! There's a crock pot one somewhere if I can find it...good when there's a crowd. Quote bev00 - 2018-07-10 21:28:00 |

I use the BBC syrup with the addition of brandy and find it really convenient. Just add the desired amount to a mug of wine or cider (really good in cider) and heat. The brandy really makes a difference though. greerg - 2019-07-10 11:04:00 |
| 1/2 red wine + 1/2 stones green ginger wine or add to that (just in bottle) citrus zest/peel and cinammon stick… some brandy or whisky if you want a bit more 'ooomph' yes I'm a heathen … but both work for 1 or 2 pheonix4 - 2019-07-11 21:20:00 |
