Hi Twilight, weather here is the same but hey every day is a great day for sewing. I realised i am enjoying doing this quilt because there is no rush with it, it doesnt have to be finished for someones birthday or christmas, makes it more enjoyable :)
your probably finding that too after you making all the craft stall stuff, now you can sew when you want to :)

Phew! hot today. Just came back from taking dog for a walk but didn't go far, too hot. Didn't go to quilt group this morning, too hot in the Community House where we have it but Mah Jong this afternoon, not so hot there. Hope you are all having a good day.

Lovely quilts Twi, loved the cat one. You are clever, they will be snapped up.
Have been to Craft Group this morning, lots of chatter and lots of work too. I am making a quilt with appliqued blocks, don't care if it takes me all year as I just like to have handwork that I can take with me. Some of the ladies bring their machines but mine is too heavy and why would I bother. Ironing this afternoon, ugh, but really must get it done plus have washed granddaughers quilt so need to press it so that she can take it home. When I made it I made her promise she would give it to me to wash.

Nite all, won't be around tomorrow. Dog to the vet, then meeting a friend for lunch and what do you know? She works right near Spotlight so might just have to make a detour. They have a 30% off end of bolt even on already marked down fabrics - well it would be a shame to be so close and not just have a look wouldn't it???

sweetdreams coalrange :0) just taking a break from my family tree hunting. Have been at it since Sunday and have been here until well past 11pm most nights. Eyes getting sore, bum is numb, and my brains are addled.
Next week will be away heading up to Akld to visit some old places of interest. Just happens family live there as well.
