We have cried and laughed today and he is now buried in the front garden. He wasn't allowed out the front as he could get out the gate but he loved it when he was allowed under supervision. | 46719 | Dilli I have an overlocker that was given to me a few years ago. I have never used it or taken it out of the box - it was so heavy. | 46720 | barb I have had 3 overlockers. The first I could not work out how to use, the second was fabo and easy to use, but my grandson had a tiff day and threw it against the wall so no good. Now I have this Bernina one a good one, but I have to get used to it. Im getting there. And I barrowed one from Carolev for awhile in the beginning. Im not as patient as I used to be, get flustered a lot quicker in me old age heheheheheeee............ I've been tidying up the garden instead and looking after grandchildren from time to time. I promised myself a quiet day today but ended up babysitting 3 year old grandson who was determined to be unhappy the whole hour I had him. | 46726 | Hello, I'm here too. Haven't had the internet for a week as my modem died. My man convinced Telecom to replace it for nothing (we thought we'd have to buy one) by saying as we are with Telecom already and they are giving modems away to those the move to Telecom, how about giving us one and we'll stay with Telecom . . . they said yes. It arrived today and just plugged it in and basically it was pretty straight forward to get up and going. Doing a complete scan now as it hadn't been done for two weeks. Been busy this weekend using up lots of scraps of and whole canteen bandannas left over from previous quilts I've made and am tackling this "Dancing Nine-Patch" quilt of Bonnie K Hunter. | 46738 | Plans to go to the Quilt Show at the Pavilion at Hamilton Gardens this weekend. It's always so inspiring. I have a confession to make - I am working on that scrappy quilt that I mentioned further up on the page and my confession is that "I daydream all day about my quilts that I have on the go and keen to continue". I get home after a full day's work and get dinner going and then I don't end up going in to the sewing room to sew - only really on the weekends. Aaah well, never mind!
