Hello- I am home again. Didn't find any crafts shops anywhere on the cruise but did come across a fantastic craft market at Paihia yesterday. Had awesome holiday but it's good to be home in my own bed again. Has anyone got the link to the great sewing bee? I saw the first two episodes of series 2 before I went away but there must have been some more episodes since then. I can't find anything using google. Hope you are all doing ok ....

Me has been resting Skippie, and cleaning out the fridge Cooking and freezing all the food that's left after my sister went. Will be sorting (the craft stuff) for the next few days then back to sewing for me.

Bernina Funlock 004D Have found the manual on line now trying to work out how to get it printed out for me as my regular photo copy shop has closed down. Still looking for the colour threading chart. Have tried the Bernina shops in Hamilton and Tauranga

You do not need to sign up or join anything. The only thing you should click on is the play button. If you are getting popups or seeing ads, you need to install an adblocker for your browser. Your entire internet life will be much better with a adblocker installed. Pages will load faster, you wont get bombarded with ads and there is far less chance of accidentally clicking something nasty.

I brought some readymade pads of TM a week or so ago. They are rather thin and more like pantyliners to me.

hello everyone ... the tie dyeing is fantastic Carolev. I must try it sometime too.
Feeling very satisfied with myself. One Tuesday afternoon, I made two aprons, finished a quilt (just the handsewing on the binding) and completed another "fish & chip" jersey. Since then I have half finished another jersey and made one more apron. Won't get near the sewing room today at all but have another apron all cut out ready to go and want to get that finished.
Glorious day in Wanganui today. Enjoy the autumn everyone - not long till winter hits especially with daylight saving finishing this weekend.

I was given an overlocker a few years ago and have never used it. Its very heavy and doesnt have a manual. But it would be useful for some of the work I do so might pull it out and have a play.

What make is the overlocker Barb I had one given to me and down loaded the manual and threading on line. So now I can use it. Mind you Carole came and helped me as it was threaded wrong. But now It works a treat.
Will be posting the xmas books to you this weekend too. Have them all ready to go.

morning girls jugs boiled. well I got my FREE sewing lesion yesterday, what a waist of time. I knew how to work this new machine but just wanted to find out the finer points about it. All the lady wanted to show me was quilting and what it could do there, I told her I was a dress maker not into quilting have made lots of lovely dolls dresses, aprons, plastic bag holder etc bought myself 2 new machine this year a dream weaver by brother and a self threading over locker by by went $5000. but well worth it. I just love the big wide bed on the sewing machine

MORNING ALL Sounds like your new machine is a long arm used mainly for quilting. Hence the lesson in quilting. Cant wait to see them though. Have you tried googling the machine model and see if there are any tips on what you can do online....
