Well, I have finally made and added a label - 7½ years later!!

I have discovered a font called "Papyrus" and love how it looks. I have several other quilts that need to be labelled so I'll be using the same lettering. I printed a sheet of different sizes and am going to laminate it to use a guide.

Do you sit there thinking that some make a reeeeeally good job and some make such rookie mistakes? It must be hard under time pressures and having a camera following you around all the time. I think the deaf lady and the black lady who doesn't use patterns will be in there at the end.

Yes Judy .... I think David will go soon - he doesn't really have much knowledge and makes silly mistakes. I agree with you about the two you mention. I could never enter a competition like this .... I sew creatively but simply and wouldn't have the confidence to do what they do. I loved some of the shirt recreations.

I won't be posting much, if at all, over the next two weeks. I start my holiday tomorrow ... Catching the bus at 8am for Wellington and then fly to Sydney in the afternoon. I start the cruise on Monday and won't be home until March 23

Hi all, well we didn't get hit too bad with the weather, got a lot of rain and my lawn loved it !!
Been a busy bee on my sewing machine, have made a few things, kept me busy over the week and weekend. Had L home all last week with horrid head cold already and winter aint even here yet !!

Popped in to see who is in here . . . just you again Dilli, talking to yourself. I do hope all our regular contributors are well and just toooo busy to stop by.

I've started another 'easy' quilt today. It is a lovely piece of batik cotton that would be spoilt if I cut it up so have left it whole and have added borders and polar fleece on the back so almost pinned and ready to have another go at stipple quilting.
