I thought that maybe the wind had blown us away ..... Very breezey here. I have been AWOL as have two UCOL students from China staying for a few weeks while their regular home stays are on holiday. Plus I have started culling my non quilting fabric stash and started listing it. I don't really like selling but I can't just throw it away. Anniversary day tomorrow and I get to have another day at home. .....yay.

Thanks for cuppa, cool here and cloudy but no rain yet
Joy will show you raggy when I take pic, I made 2 the same and am now making a raggy using 2 1/2 " squares and maybe just maybe when im done the scrap basket will be empty :)

editing to say the 2 1/2 " squares are joined together to make a 6" lol not making a raggy out of the tiny squares haha :)

Somehow I have wasted today .... No sewing and no gardening. But I did cook a delicious meal f crockpot corned beef and vegetable bake followed by apple and rhubarb crumble and custard. Now resting my tummy.

Evening all. Finally got into sewing room today. Have put backing on grandie's quilt but still need to quilt it. Also cut out two half aprons as my Chinese UCOL students want to do something crafty and creative before they return to their home stays on Monday. They have never sewn before so am hoping they will manage these easily. It's a great pattern and only takes me an hour to complete.

Very happy with the aprons. It was the first time either girl had used a sewing machine and the first time I had tutored people who do not speak English as their first language. Took a bit longer than usual but everything finished in the afternoon. We only had to unpick one seam.

Afternoon all
Lovely aprons barb.
Been shitty weather here all day so I stayed in me pj's. I thought well I never get visitors then blow me down my dad turns up !! He did fix a towel rail for me and a thingy in the shower ...
Am trying to match some fabrics to do a quilt, (wall hanging one) I have got a loralie harris panel that I have cut up, I want to quilt it as I go style so been googling to find out how to do it..hope I don't stuff it up ...

I have spent the afternoon in the sewing room. Made a BBQ apron for a gift, attached the binding and label to grandie's quilt and started a hair clip holder. Very satisfying afternoon
