Carolev - would love to see photos of the wall hangings you are making.
I hope to start making gift tags this week - a bit like luggage labels but smaller. Will be a bit different and can be reused again and again.

I sold two little girls' reversible aprons yesterday and got orders for two more - for boys this time. Also finished another of my Christmas quilts. Yay - 4 down and one more to go!

It's lovely. I have made a queensize quilt with hexagons. Just got to do the quilting which will take forever. I love making the hexagons.

Mum had a cataract op today so I have been looking after her. Plus my poor old doggie is staying at the vets tonight as he has to have some dental work tomorrow. The surgery is high risk because f his age and heart murmur but he is in pain and I have to do something to help him. I can't have him put to sleep just for toothache.

My doggie is home from the vets minus 6 teeth. Poor boy ....he has probably been in pain for a while and I didn't realse. Made another apron set today and a few repairs on one or two other projects.

oh jumbo house work does count...... well it does here anyways. Bar nice to have your dog back. I have a pile of sewing ready to get stuck into to Hopefully in a few days time I can sew again,. Will try sunday....... I must have a 40ltre container cut out with dolls clothes now. well nearly full anyways it been a lot of cutting....

Oh thanks for brekkie coalie...... boiled egg and fresh sunday bread for me...(always used to have that as a child - that was such a treat a boiled egg on sunday morning..... Oh how times have changed )

I have been bike riding again with me boy, was getting a bit too warm the time we got home.
I have been busy making little tree ornaments for the kids in L's unit for Christmas. Have been googling some other nice things id like to make.

Well today has been and gone...well, the daytime part anyway. It was the 56th anniversary of our Dad's death. He was only 45 when he died...and norms dad was only 49, so our kids never met their grandfathers. It's pretty windy here this evening...things are rattling all over the place...and the draughts are finding their way in all over the place. It sounds as though the mynah babies have hatched too. We can hear lots of chirping. I only hope our cats don't find them...

Jumbo, I was watching birds gather straw etc for their nests yesterday. All the time, they were sqwarking because one of my cats was watching from the deck. She was sitting quite still and quiet but showing no interest in catching them. I love the birds and we always feed them up in the tree.

Gosh its quite in here. I went to spotlight today and got myself some xmas fat flats and some xmas ribbon, wanted to get some plum colour yarn to crochet a pillow for my bed, but need to match it with my duvet.
Tv is crap so mite do some sewing instead...

We must all be busy sewing or crafting or something. Since Friday, I have made 4 reversible aprons for boys and now starting on some frilly girl ones. I have orders to fill which is really nice although I am making more than requested so that the buyer has some choices.
Bit cold here today - have put the heater on. Brrrr

Good morning ... It's a grand day here in Wanganui.
