A good day had here even though I felt a bit spacey through most of it. I did get into my shed and folded some squash books ready for designing in...and a little bit of doodling.

Yep...me too. It is now morning but muttley closed the curtains last night so I can't see outside from my bed...

I'm feeling very content. I spent a couple of hours with my mate at her place and got a cushion top fused ready to sew. Now I'm catching up on emails and things. Will be back here in the morning. Sleep well.

I did...I did! Trousers and a top, a bag of buttons and a photo album that is a rustic style that I'll use to put mini quilt samples in. Trousers are much nicer than ones I would usually buy...and cost me $7! I am chuffed...

I had extra for dinner Miss 5 years old we had roast lamb spuds and veggies, she ate meat and spuds but no veggies, when I said we had pudding she did a juggle on her chair then told Poppa she had found room for that, she ate 90% of pudding then wanted cursted , told no she did not eta all she did another juggle and found more room. think I will have to try that next time I go out to dinner, she has gone home now and I am planning to have a kid free day tomorrow

I might go to a gym today. I have been told of one that costs $25 annually and the old girls meet three times a week for thirty minutes...an instructor leads them. It sounds like fun and now I'm not working I do have the time.

brrrr freezing here today - I am back in my winter woollies.
Spent the day yesterday out in the garden - very therapeutic and satisfying.
Have a slow cooker question - has anyone cooked a rolled beef roast in the slow cooker? If so, how - any water? stock? Or just the meat by itself?

Gidday Bar, just the meat by itself nothing else, when its cooked there will be liquid in the bottom to make gravy with :) it will be tender and yum.

Gidday girls...so have been to town and yes I stopped at the sewing shop !!! besides the items I needed I came out with a top pattern 'ofcourse' have just cut the paper pattern out and OH the front looks a bit tricky...guess im going to have fun lol...I should be sewing the other duffle bag but guess im not...has been wet and cool here last few days but did see bit of sun this afty but its gone again.
You have been busy Carole and you could use those nice bags for many things, very handy.
Oh yum Bar roast beef, very yum...I have a steak casserole in mine at the mo for tea mmmm.

Thought I would show you one of my finished Christmas quilts. It was a jelly roll race and I didn't like it so added the gold Christmas tree to break it up. Have given it away for a raffle. Hopefully some people like it enough to buy a ticket.
