I watched the race but manual cannot compete against computerised. NZ did put up a good fight and didn't make any silly mistakes like they have been.

Lying in bed listening to the rain and wind. At least it's not cold.
Took my machine in for servicing on Monday and today was the first chance I got to use it again. Finished the quilting and binding in another Christmas quilt and now have the hand sewing to do. Then it's just three more to finish. I feel quite organised :)

tis a very windy raining day here, just spent the morning at my mums she had to get a new car last week her car (which is only 3 years old) broke down for the second time and had to be taken away by the car transporter, so the place were she got it from offered her a great deal and now has a brand spanking new mazda2 awesome wee car
havent been doing much sewing lately, well havent been doing much of anything LOL
you all have been doing some lovely quilts/bags/books/sewing love them all :)

Carole Ive just been drafting some of the baby born patterns that we used to have but I can not find mine. I could only find the pattern with the dress and all in one the nappie and hat etc. So I tried to draft the rompers, raglan dress/top, pinie, and sleeping bag (with sleeves in it) All done now 3 were perfect only had to redo the raglan dress. Have tried them all out now and they fit nicely.
So ill start cutting more pattern pieces so I can get ready to sew for the xmas lot.
Dolls quilts are all ready for the backing and blankets all ready for the edging.
It will keep me and stan busy for a few weeks heheheeeee
Jugs just boiled so help yourself.

I now have 4 Christmas quilts ready for the hand sewing and then I can wrap them and put them away. I don't know which one is for what family so will wrap and then label later. That way I will also get a surprise :)
Next project - a reversible apron for a daughter's birthday in December. She owes me money and said instead of her usual birthday money, not to give her anything but take that amount off what she owes me. I agreed but can't not give her anything so will make nice apron. That only costs time as the fabric has been in my stash for years and therefore is free.
