Drommy...the six year old was Sarah's friend's son. She was away with Sarah too. I thought he might have been a bit shy but no way...it was very amusing, and he loved being with the big boys.

Nice quilt Coalie - I might have to store that design away for future use.
Am trying not to worry about little Molly who is at the vets today. She has had two teeth extracted - one a deformity growing in the wrong place and the other one was broken right down to the gum. The vet has just rung to say she will probably have to stay overnight. But hopefully the extractions will mean that she can eat normally again - although the vet said he wouldnt hold his breath!

Oh, meant to say Jumbo - don't be discouraged. I discovered when I was trying to lose weight, that I was not eating enough and so my body was storing everything. When I started eating the correct amount of calories every day and exercising, it started to fall off.

Thanks for the coffee....well two weeks leave for me and today I have to get two 21st cakes finished to take to Dunedin. I'd hoped to get my daughters quilt finished for her birthday but won't quite make it (still the border to fiinish quilting) I will be however presenting her with her 'gibby'.....a quilt I made for her older sister in 1982 and Courtenay claimed as her own. It was once a very pretty greem gingham and broderie anglaise affair but now resembles a half chewed dogs blanket. I told her I would give it back to her when shes 21 and its lived in a shoebox, unwashed since 1994 lol!

oooh 2 weeks off Viv yay. I know the 1/2 chewed dogs blanket quilt, #1 daughters quilt was the same, I did manage to fix it tho but it ended up 1/3rd of the size. Have fun in Dunedin :) Two 21sts do you have twins ?
Tis chilly here, have lit fire and playing with transferring images onto paper using a mod podge mix.....it might work but might not .... nothing lost if it doesn't.

I do have twins but they are only 14. My daughter is having a combined 21st with her flatmate. The flatties cake had to be gluten free so I hope it tastes okay. They are very simple cakes. Both girls adore cats and requested cats on their cakes, so one has white with pink cats and the other white with purple

I've made a cushion and delivered it to its new owner...but forgot to take a photo of it! Also went for a walk and did the supermarket shopping. I got a new Visa card yesterday and it had to be franked before it can be used so I did that as well...so today has been good so far. Would have been even better if we had won the second race though....

Viv the cakes will be lovely. Oooh twins that would be so nice, Daisy Bee was a twin but daughter lost one early in pregnancy.
Grizz mine makes a noise, cant remember wether its a click a clack or a clunk haha but if its sewing ok then it wont matter what noise its making.

morning girls jugs boiled went shopping so now have coffee and not the cheap stuff . did sewing yesterday turned up pants for a friend and made a pocket bag for daughters heart monitor .had grandkids here yesterday grandson brought me a used fabric cardboard roll , came it handy to tap his butt as he was being a little s****

It was an amazing storm wasn't it Coalie?! The brightest lightning I've ever seen and thunder that sounded like gunshots. Incredible and just beautiful.
