This is one of 2 skirts I made her also. The other was purple & instead of butterflies it had ladybirds. She chose the designs to go on her skirts.

Good morning ladies. I'm in bed being a big baby while muttley watches the cup race. Apparently they nearly tipped over...the kiwis I mean...so they will probably lose the first race I think. Too bad.
Nice handbag velia...but I couldn't open the skirt photo?
No breakfast for me yet...and still more work to do on my signatures today. Then we are going out for a while...until the rugby this afternoon.
Have an awesome day.

Hi Barb...weeeeeell i had a shoulder roast, trimmed off all the outside skin and fat (if you like crackling you can always grill it in oven) sprayed the cooker lightly with cooking spray then added pork...nothing more...cooked on slow for first 4 1/2 hours then on high for last 4 1/2 hours...i turned the pork every hour...it did colour up actually i was surprised and the juices in the bottom were lovely golden colour, and not fatty...next time i will lay pork on a bed of sliced apples for the sauce... was moist and tender mmm...put roast spuds etc in oven...twas beau-ti-ful !

45533

Mooooorning! Are you as cold as me? Not a warm day here today...but this afternoon I have to pick up bundles of kids from school so they will warm me up! I need to do two runs today...big GS's have begged me to get them from high school. Their Dad teaches at the same school and as yesterday, has said he will bring them home straight after school. It was a late finish...they didn't get back until after five! There are important sports matches to be played...and they need sustenance and warm up time. Of course I will get them!
Other than that I don't know what I am going to get up to. Will wait and see...

I think a frill would be nice Carole, maybe in a colour matching the embroidery.

thanks coaly was thinking of cotton lace??

carolev - 2013-09-17 18:49:00
45545

I agree Carole...a nice big frill would be awesome and finish it off nicely.
Lovely wee grandie grizz. Isn't it fun having them around? I had to laugh this afternoon because I picked up a six year old before getting to the other two schools for the bigger boys. It was mayhem in the car...the wee one loved having big boys with him. But when we got home one of the fifteen year olds asked if they were ever that noisy! Multiply it by two I said. He was astonished to think he had ever been like that. So in the house this afternoon...remember we live in a granny flat...a six year old, a twelve year old, a fourteen year old from over the road and two fifteen year olds! It sure was entertaining!
