Had it last week twi...a nose bag would be good, but if you are sneezing and coughing like we were it could get messy!

I love that jelly roll tutorial ....I have had it book marked for ages and really want to make it. But I have to finish my other projects first. Have started another crumb quilt which is "naughty" but I just love using the scraps and seeing how they turn out.
Nice dresses Carolev .... Well done. I love the colours.
My mum has arrived home but I have flu bugs .... Coughing and spluttering and my nose needs a new washer cause I can't turn it off :(

Love the blue dress carole and seem to reco the yellow one,.
They both look nice on. YIp I cheat with mine only because I like the comfy of the Teeshirts and I dont have a overlocker to sew that stretch fabric.
Hope twi is ffeeeling bettererer this morning and any one else that has bugs.
I have a free day today after a hic cup day yesterday of waiting for this then that. (and I dont like waiting - I am not very good at it - I like to get theings done when its needed).

Good morning all...and thank you for the brew and breakfast. Rain must be on the way because the cats are chasing each other round and round the house...talk about dust bunnies! No wonder the sucky machine gets used every day.

Raining here now. I just got back from the shops in time.
And one op shops was having a big clean out sale and had boxes and boxes of fabric going cheap. And I confess I bought 4 pieces. 2 for me dresses and 2 for the dolls clothes.

II'm eating lots of tinned fish...sardines or pink salmon or herrings for lunch along with a salad. Breakfast is boring but I like it! Two slices of toast, no butter or margarine but cottage cheese...I like the one with chives. Dinner is much the same as we always have but on a smaller plate! And I am learning to eat slowly. And wait before getting seconds...usually I find I don't need them. The doctors nurse is keeping me accountable by checking up on my
Weight regularly so there is no room for error. I also have to keep a food diary of everything that passes my lips!! Interesting though...she told me I'd be better off drinking low fat milk than any of the diet drinks. I'm not a good drinker of water but bought a bottle of lime juice and put a squirt of that in a glass and it makes it more palatable. Snacks can be low fat yoghurt or low fat cheese or fruit or nuts...I'm steering clear of nuts in case my teeth break some more though! I'm motivated by nothing more than not wanting full blown diabetes though. I knew there was a pretty fair chance of getting it because it is in the family...Jenno is insulin dependent...but thought I had missed out until the blood test. No fool like an old fool eh? So I really need a kick in the bum for not attending to it before...
It is cold here! The southerly must be pushing its way up the country and I don't like it after the lovely warmth we have been having.
I got an awesome book that I had ordered this morning...about Eco dyeing...so I might hunker down with that this afternoon. Have a good one.

Freezin here... we've had lots of hail this morning but no snow phew! Bags are packed and under weight so plenty of room for stash enhancements LOL.

weve had rain this afternoon but none for a while now and no wind, it must still be coming, I heard its yuk in Welly :(
well I got everything out of the cupboards ( if you watch hoarders tonight then that's what the room looks like now. )
daughter came up with the bright idea of making the 2 cupboards into wardrobes and using our wardrobe as the storage room soooo have painted the cupboards they are walk in and big so will have even more room for clothes hehe
tomorrow will be spent sorting and putting away the mess.
Good shopping Dilli, our op shops have got very expensive I haven't got anything for a while now.
Good on you Jumbo loosing 3 kg wow oooh in pounds it would sound even more. Congrats to you :)

Some of the rusting worked and some didn't. I will try and put some photos up of the good stuff. Maybe I'll wait until tomorrow when the light is better though. We are going to do them again...it was fun!
