Happy birthday to the my fellow Leos Jumbo & bhs! We have another birthday girl in our midst too... twas Grizz's birthday yesterday! Thought she would have been in to show off her grandies wee back pack... man its so cool!

LOVE your quilt Holly... its turned out gorgeous and not just coz of the colour (tis a gorgeous purple on my screen!) LOL... have I mentioned how gorgeous it is? And Munchkins quilt Coalie... so cute... doesn't look like just a panel to me! Oh and Bar, your wall hanging for Dad's home... oh so special, well done! I'm sure the home will treasure it.

Well I think my quilt is quilted.... not going to add anything more at this stage... only... "only" the binding to go! Thats tomorrows adventure when I start piecing the binding together... yep, its gonna be a bitsa one!

LOL love all the Leo descriptions... I'm a passive peace making pussy cat too... well most of the time. I can lead, but only with a lot of planning and its usually a back up plan that forces me in to action. Bossy, nah... just don't like indecision LOL. Mines on Monday. One of my best and longest friends BD is 2 days before me (we started school together at age 5), and my BIL is in between us... I think they're both bossier than me hehe.

Cor that recipe sounds great Coalie... can you make another one tho please, coz I don't like coffee? Wonder if Dilli is still unpacking? She'll have lots to tell, I'm sure!

Holly, I love the colours on your quilt, very jewel box effect. Well today I finally used the vouchers my kidlets gave me for my birthday back in May. Can't wait to get partners reaction later. I think he was thinking slight trim and colour highlights on my not quite waist length hair but I decided to go radical and chop it all off....I really love it so different and will save me hunting for hair ties every morning

Barbrose, take it from one who works in a rest home...the residents and staff will love your beautiful wall hanging...you should feel very proud to have donated it with such meaning, well done.
HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY to Jumbo and Bhs...also thanks for my wishes in return...I love being a leo, I think it suits me very well lol...I have my own opinions and views on things that don't necessarily belong to the majority but I call that individuality...am self assured but hope not bolshy also can stand my ground if needed and yes I DO have a caring side too.
What a gorgeous pretty coloured quilt Coaly and the binding looks fine to me lol...Holly you have chosen such lovely colours they work well in your quilt together, fabo job done.

Great bag grizz...or maybe I should say great bags, both you and the backpack! What a wonderful gift. He will be the only one to have a bag like that.
I got part of the house cleaned today. I can see the mat in the lounge part of the open plan living area...and all the floors were vacuumed. Not washed though...that will be tomorrow's job. I swear I sucked up another fluffy cat! Her fur goes everywhere.
No more stitching done yet but loads of oogling.
Has it been ten days since Dilli left? Gosh time flies when she's having fun...
